Meet Michael Kirby, Owner and Senior Project Manager
Michael Kirby has been in the custom home building business for decades. Michael grew up in Buck County, Pennsylvania, where he learned the ins and outs of historical renovation and custom home building. Michael worked as a project manager for some of the biggest names in the business, building homes in excess of 14,000 sq ft. Michael has managed custom, new home build projects exceeding $3 million. He moved to Ithaca in 2007 with his wife and opened a custom furniture and carpentry business. In 2023, he launched Kirby Custom Builders to bring his extensive expertise in new home building to the Ithaca area. He would be pleased to show you his past projects and hear more about your project.
Michael is a master carpenter and a certified electrician. He is experienced and understands intimately ever aspect of construction and will make sure you are comfortable every step of the way.
